The ministry has required provincial and municipal Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DCST) to continually update the list of violating individuals and organizations which will make it easier for management agencies to apply sanctions.

Since August, DCST in big cities have established hotlines so that people can immediately report violations to the authorities.
The Department of Performing Arts will work with the Inspectorate Department to manage art performances in cities including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Nguyen.
The ministry’s Legal and Training Department, in co-operation with the Department of Performing Arts, will also organise annual training courses to inform artists and organisations about regulations on performances. Young artists who are self-employed will be particularly targeted.

The MCST urged the Department of Performing Arts to carry out further studies on the granting of licenses for singers and models and to complete the circular instructing the implementation of the decree on art performance regulations, which should be released before July 15.
Administrative sanctions will be stricter with high penalties.
