Net dep que huong (Beauty of the country) is being held for the third time at HCMC Association of Fine Arts, featuring 97 artworks by 44 artists.

Artists use many materials such as oil on canvas, lacquer, water color, silk, tree covers, bronze and pottery to make paintings, sculptures, statues and installation works. The pieces depict landscapes, culture, people, daily life and hot social issues.

To the popular exhibition, visitors will have a chance to indulge in an art space with many styles of realism, expressionism and abstract. Feelings will be changed in diverse tones from happy in natural sceneries, nostalgia in statues, thoughtful in social issues and exciting with strange and new topics such as daily life and culture of Bach Viet ancient people by Truong Van Y and especially ceramics by Nguyen Van Trung and Le Thi Thanh Tam and statues by Kim Thanh.

The show, which runs until next Monday at 218A Pasteur in District 3, also features statues and images of Buddha.
