To meet increasing demands of book worms, Thanh Hoa Provincial Library’s leaders have broken ground for the new library in the province with an investment of VND178.4 billion, reports VietnamPlus.
The new library will be built on an area of 8,500 square meters with high-end facilities, improved preservation and protection functions as well as updated books and documents on culture, science and technology. The new library will offer 650,000 books with 10,500 regular readers.
After completion, the library will include four blocks designed in modern architecture, seven floors and a four-storey building. The first floor will be served as a host venue for cultural and arts events, festivals and exhibitions.
