The annual event brings together nearly 500 competitors from 24 provinces and cities across the country.
The five-day tournament presents a great opportunity for its young artists to hone their skills. It also will help select promising young talents for the national team in preparation for upcoming world and domestic judo competitions.
Ho Chi Minh City topped last year’s event, taking home 20 gold, 17 silver and 12 bronze medals, followed by Ben Tre and Tra Vinh.
