Lieutenant-General Dao Duy Minh pays visit to Military Hospital 17

PANO - Lieutenant-General Dao Duy Minh, Deputy-Director of the General Department of Politics, on July 20th, visited the Military Hospital 17 and presented gifts to war invalids and wounded soldiers at the Hospital in Da Nang City.

For the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, a delegation of 20 doctors from the Hospital 17 offered free check-ups and medicines worth VND 60 million to 1,000 social beneficiaries in Tra Tho Commune, Tay Tra District, Quang Ngai Province. Besides, the unit also inquired after and gave gifts to the Hoi An Sanatorium, which cares locals credited with services to the nation, in Da Nang City.
At the reception, Lieutenant-General Dao Duy Minh highly appreciated the Hospital 17’s efforts in heightening medical ethics, whole-heartedly caring for war invalids, wounded soldiers and locals and affirmed that taking good care of soldiers and people’s health is to meet demand of training combat readiness. The unit’s troops and doctors should overcome difficulties and promote their sense of responsibility and treatment quality for patients.
