PANO – Senior Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty, Chief-of-the-General Staff of Vietnam People’s Army and the Deputy-Minister of National Defence, visited and worked with Khanh Hoa Provincial Military High Command and the Province’s border guard on April 27^th.

At Khanh Hoa Provincial Military High Command, Senior Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty highly appreciated the efforts of the officers and soldiers in fulfilling their political central tasks and consulting with the local authorities to maintain political stability and social security, facilitating economic development in the Province.

The General stressed that in the upcoming time the Provincial Military High Command should collaborate closely with other local forces and authorities to build a stronger entire people defence position.

At Khanh Hoa Border Guard Command, the General praised the spirit to overcome difficulties to cooperate with local authorities to maintain political stability and social security in the area.

He asked the provincial border guard force to effectively promote the movement of the people in protecting national sovereignty and security along the coastal areas.

He also asked the force to promote its efforts on protecting and rescuing Vietnamese fishermen when accidents happen or under the influences of bad weather.
