VietNamNet Bridge – “Metropole Nomade” is an art-exchange project initiated by the “Metropole” group of artists in Paris, France. This project will be implemented in Asia, Europe and Latin America from 2012-2014.
This year, the project took place in Hanoi with the participation of five French artists (Abigail Nunes, Annie Barel, Elli Drouilleau, Eric Huynh, Pat cam), four Brazilian artists (Erica Bettiol, Flavia Sammarone, Fabiana Mitsue, Flavia Vivacqua) and six Vietnamese artists (Nguyen Tran Cuong, Nguyen Ngoc Phuong, Tran Gia Tung, Tran Trung Thanh, Vu Duc Trung and Hoang Duy Vang).
The project is now on display at Mai Gallery, Hanoi, until August 9.
Entitled “Movement”, the project aims to build an installation artwork by artists from Vietnam, France and Brazil. This work will be performed in many phases. Based on the initial idea, each group of artists will develop their own works, which will be combined to create the final work.
