Lai Huong Thao nets Miss Sport 2012 title

The pageant contest, hosted by HCMC-based Nam Huong Investment & Communication Group, had 35 contestants from around the country. Thao was born in 1991 in the northern province of Quang Ninh, is 1.67 m tall and has vital statistics of 89-61.5-91.5. She brought home a crown worth VND1 billion along with other gifts worth VND500 million. The first runner-up was Duong Thi Ha Giang from the mountainous northern province of Ha Giang and the second runner-up was Giang Thi Chuong from the northwestern province of Son La.
