Classic guitar night in Hanoi

Back to Basic classic guitar performance featuring artists Nguyen Thai Minh and Dang Truong Giang will take place at the French Cultural Center (L’Espace), 24 Trang Tien Street in Hanoi at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
The concert is arranged without a set-list as the two young artists want to help create an ideal space for audiences to focus on enjoying the music and have some nice surprises up their sleeves.
Minh was the first Vietnamese student to join the Northwest Guitar Festival at the Eastern Washington University and won third prize in last year’s contest. Giang has been active in many exchanges among local students to promote guitar music.
Tickets are priced at VND80,000 and VND100,000 each and are available at Room No. 1401, Block 34T Hoang Dao Thuy Street, Nhan Chinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District in Hanoi.
There will be also a piano concert for young talents from the Vietnam National Academy of Music at L’Espace at 8 p.m. on August 29. Tickets are on sale at the center at VND60,000 and VND120,000 each.
