The event titled ‘Vietnam-Commercial Port of Peace and Development’ aims to raise awareness in people of the sovereignty of the islands, and highlight the leading role of the maritime sector in Vietnam’s national economy, security and national defense.

The festival will include a variety of activities, such as a carnival; an amateur golf tournament; sea, ship and island photographic exhibition; musical performances; seminars on seaport development and investment; and a gala themed ‘Colors of Vietnam’ featuring messages of the International Association of Ports and Harbors, and Vietnam Seaports Association, including ‘World peace through global commercialization’, ‘Global commercialization through international seaports’ and ‘Vietnam seaports-global destination’.
