Ton Dong A sponsors bridge construction

HCMC – Ton Dong A Corp. on Sunday granted the Faculty of Materials Technology under the HCMC Polytechnic University a fund of nearly VND203 million to develop a concrete bridge in Dong Thap on the occasion of the 2012 Green Summer Campaign.
Since 2007, Ton Dong A has accompanied the Faculty of Materials Technology in building six concrete bridges in the Mekong Delta to meet the transportation demand of residents and make it easier for students to go to schools. The total sponsorship in six years is VND600 million.
The Green Summer Campaign of the students at the HCMC Polytechnic University is a significant activity in association with Ton Dong A.
Ho Song Ngoc, deputy general director of Ton Dong A Corp., said corporate social responsibility is one of the factors that build up the company’s brand. Every year, the steel sheet producer spends an average VND700 million on social and community activities.
The factory of Ton Dong A is located at Song Than 1 Industrial Park in Binh Duong Province. The factory consists of two galvanizing coil coating lines, three color coil coating lines and one aluminum-zinc alloy coil coating line applying NOF technology, with the total capacity of 250,000 tons per year.
