An artist delegation of more than 80 singers, dancers and actors from Ho Chi Minh City will give performances on Con Dao Island from July 9-11.

The event aims to bring entertainment to the local people and soldiers on the island and educate young artists about the revolutionary traditions of the past by visiting historical sites.

The delegation includes former vice president Truong My Hoa; Vo Thi Thang, former chairman of the Vietnam National Tourism; Pham Chanh Truc, former vice secretary of HCMC Party Committee; People’s Artist Quang Tho; Meritorious artists Quynh Lien, Ta Minh Tam, Thanh Thuy, Van Khanh and Hai Phuong; singers Dam Vinh Hung, Nguyen Phi Hung, Thu Minh, Doan Trang, Trung Hau, Bouner Trinh, Kasim Hoang Vu, Giang Hong Ngoc, Dong Dao, Vo Ha Tram and Trieu Loc.

The performances will be broadcast live on Ho Chi Minh City Television’s HTV1 channel on July 9-10.
